Starting with June 11th, 2018 Baltic Scientific Instruments was participating in the conference organized during NSG Chairmanship of Latvia located right next to the seaside of Jurmala.
NSG or Nuclear Supplier Group is one of the authorities involved in export control of strategic goods. All countries of NSG are performing control of export of strategic goods in order to avoid illegal relocation of weapons and/or double application goods.
NSG was organized in 1975 and currently consists of 48 countries from all continents. Basis of the NSG is mutual will to control and limit nuclear material and technology export. As a result of NSG hard work, there is a list of nuclear materials which are safe to import and export as long as they correspond to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards.
